Known as the smallest kingdom in the world, Tavolara is a limestone and granite mountain that rises from the sea, 560 meters high, four kilometers long, characterized by impervious rocks, by the imposing and dizzying verticality and by the splendid chromatic tones: the juniper green , rosemary and lentisk, in combination with the blue, blue and emerald green of the waters around.
The island, with an elongated and almost flat shape, is the fulcrum, as well as the characteristic symbol of an unforgettable spectacle: the protected marine area of Tavolara-Punta Coda Cavallo, which extends for 76 kilometers on the coast of Loiri Porto San Paolo, Olbia and San Teodoro and for 15 thousand hectares on crystal clear waters, inlets and coves, from Capo Ceraso to Punta s’Isuledda.
